At Avenue Primary School, our PSHE Curriculum aims to encourage our children to understand how they are developing personally and socially and tackle many of the moral, social and cultural issues that are part of growing up.
We provide our children with opportunities for them to progress using our schools learning values: resilience, thoughtful, confident, cooperative, curious and motivated.
We challenge all of our pupils to look for opportunities to show the school values and to seek leadership opportunities within the school. Our children are encouraged to develop their sense of self-worth by playing a positive role in contributing to school life.
At Avenue Primary School, children are able to explore their rights and responsibilities with the confidence to challenge and/or question their role within our society including areas such as family support, homelessness and employment both as a child and as an adult within the future.
