At Avenue Primary School we aim to provide a high-quality physical education curriculum that inspires all of our pupils to succeed and excel in sport and other physical activities.
We always aim to provide opportunities for our pupils to become physically literate and confident in a way which supports their health and fitness as they move towards making their own choices as young adults.
In addition, we aim to provide opportunities for children to compete in sport and other activities in order to build character and help to embed values such as: fairness, team work and respecting each other.
Avenue is also in the fortunate position of having a highly skilled sports coach that works regularly with all of its children.
Every year we go to the local park to do Sports Week. Every year group get involved and we have a lot of fun.
